Freshly made from organic butter, our nourishing ghee is cooked slowly for the correct colour, aroma and nutty sweetness. Double filtered to remove milk solids, there are no additives, colouring or unpronounceable bits. Recommended in Ayurvedic cooking, ghee has a high smoking point and it is rich in Vitamins A, D, E and K and is ideal for cooking, baking and external use. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use a clean, dry spoon. During warm weather, ghee may melt slightly but this is normal and there is no need to refrigerate. If stored properly, ghee lasts for many years. In fact the earliest form of ghee is over five thousand years old! Ours, of course, is freshly made!
