Recommended in Ayurvedic cooking, ghee is kept best stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and always use a clean, dry spoon for serving. During warmer weather, slight melting may occur, but rest assured, this is normal—no refrigeration is necessary. When stored properly, our ghee can last for many years... in fact, the earliest form of ghee is over 5,000 years old! Ours, of course, is freshly made!
